Community Day 2025: A Home Run for MCLL

On Memorial Day, our fields weren’t used for baseball — instead, they were overflowing with laughter, smiles, and the incredible spirit of the Manheim community.

Our first-ever MCLL Community Day was more than just a celebration of the game. It was a celebration of connection — families coming together, neighbors cheering each other on, and players making memories that will last long after the final raffle ticket was called. From the dunk tank to the cornhole boards, from face painting to the radar gun booth, and of course — from snow cones to raffle baskets — every corner of the Pool Field was buzzing with energy. It was a day full of friendly competition, backyard-style fun, and a reminder that our league is about so much more than baseball.

We want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made the day possible: Our incredible volunteers who showed up early, stayed late, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes. The coaches who jumped into the dunk tank and brought their A-game to kickball. The families who donated raffle baskets, worked the concession stand, and supported every booth and game. Our players — who reminded us what this league is truly about with every smile, high-five, and swing of the bat. Thanks to your generosity and participation, Community Day not only brought joy to our fields — it also helped raise funds to support the continued growth of our league. These funds will go directly toward equipment, field improvements, and keeping registration affordable for all families in our community.

We’re proud to say our first MCLL Community Day was a grand slam — and we’re already excited to do it again.
